Strella Consulting Sdn Bhd — Proprietary SaaS Framework
I lead an 8-person Research & Development team, setting technical direction for our proprietary SaaS framework and the cloud infrastructure it runs on.
- Set technical direction for an 8-person engineering team — from architecture decisions to code review and delivery planning.
- Continuously improve the performance, security, and reliability of our proprietary SaaS framework.
- Scope and ship new features and custom enhancements based on client and business needs.
- Provision and configure new SaaS environments for client onboarding.
- Own our cloud infrastructure on DigitalOcean — provisioning, monitoring, backups, and migrations.
- Manage and secure hosting infrastructure across multiple production environments.
- Run automated backup pipelines to AWS S3 for applications, databases, and source code.
- Introduced modern development workflows and tooling across the team, from version control to remote development environments.
Major Projects & Achievements
- Delivered several payment gateway integrations, including Fiuu, Billplz, eGHL, Boost, and PayHalal.
- Built Malaysia's LHDN e-Invoice integration, covering both standard and self-billed invoices.
- Connected the platform to Meta's WhatsApp Business API for automated customer messaging.
- Developed a courier integration with PosLaju, automating waybill generation and shipment tracking.
- Explored blockchain integration by connecting with the OpenSea API.

Over six years, I helped scale our cloud ERP product — shipping dozens of client deployments while mentoring the developers around me.
- Delivered 40+ successful ERP implementations for clients across a range of industries.
- Designed and built custom enhancements tailored to individual client requirements.
- Owned full project delivery — design, build, testing, and deployment.
- Built and integrated a companion mobile app with the core ERP platform.

My first developer role — building and supporting government e-services used by the public.
- Helped build and maintain the e-Claim and e-Perolehan platforms for government clients.
- Worked closely with the CTO on a major redesign of the e-Claim system.
- Diagnosed and resolved production issues through daily support tickets.
- Delivered more than 15 projects for various public-sector agencies.
